This topic is about how motivation can affect a person's performance at work. The job of a manager is to get things done through employees. To do this, it is necessary for the manager to be able to motivate employees. But its easier to say it than to do it.
There is an old saying "you can take a horse to the water but you can't force it to drink. It will drink only if its thirsty." And that happens with people too. They will do what they want to do only if they are motivated either by therselves or by another person.
Some people was born motivated to do everything in life but some other doesn't. What can you do if that is the case? Motivation skills must be learned. This is essential for any company to succeed.
Here there are 7 strategies to motivate:
Positive reinforcements
Effective discipline and punishment
Treating people fairly
Satisfying employees needs
Setting work related goals
Restructuring jobs
Base rewards on job performance
These are the basic rules but the manager should be able to apply it in the right way. That will depend on each working situation.
Motivation is basically to induce sombebody in a specific way. In business that's necesary to increase sales and to create a better work enviroment.
Can a worker make a good job while he/she is not motivated? What can a person do for motivate itself? What other factors can influence a worker?

Motivation and lidership might perhaps be the key for an efficient, hardworking team, but also there's not that much to do when the enviroment is too tense so not even the manager could stay calmed and encouraged. A good lider is not that easy to find.

What can we do if a partner doesn't want to give his best effort? I know there are many tactics but we really tried with him. I think its time to get him fired.
